Class Descriptions and Fee Schedule

 Annual Registration Fee

$40 Annual Membership Fee (per student)- Valid September 01, 2017 – August 31, 2018
Activates participant membership and benefits for the calendar year. New students must enroll in a class simultaneous to paying the Annual Membership Fee to ensure that they are participating in The First Tee Certification Process.  Returning students may pay the Annual Membership Fee at anytime during the calendar year, prior to enrolling in a class.

Membership Fee is not pro-rated and is non refundable.

Sibling Discount – Register one at the normal rate and receive 20% discount for a brother or sister.

Little Linksters – Nine week session for  participants who are  4, 5 & 6 years of age.
The Little Linksters program is a introduction to golf for 5 and 6 year olds. SNAG equipment, which consists of brightly colored over-sized plastic equipment and targets, is used in conjunction with developmentally appropriate curriculum to stimulate an early interest in golf. If you have your own clubs, please bring them to class.
$75.00 for a nine-week session

PLAYer – Introduces playing the game of golf with special emphasis on learning golf and The First Tee Code of Conduct, appreciating the rules and etiquette of the game, and developing your game in golf and life.
All new participants must start at this level. (age 7 and up)
$115.00 for a nine-week session plus certification day.

PAR – Nine week session designed to give participants more interpersonal communication and self-management skills.
Must have completed all PLAYer requirements and have coach approval to register for class. (age 9 and up)
$115.00 for a nine-week session plus certification day.

Birdie – Nine week class designed for our more advanced junior golfers and those who have successfully completed our Par class. Builds upon the lessons learned in the Par class and focuses on the skills and strategies necessary to play great golf.  Emphasizes goal-setting.
Must have completed all Par requirements and have coach approval to register for class.(minimum age 11)
$115.00 for a nine-week session plus certification day.

Eagle – Need to have successfully completed all components of the Birdie testing to enroll. Students will work on fine-tuning their skills for tournament play.
Must have completed all Birdie requirements and have coach approval to register for class. (minimum age 13)
$115.00 for a nine-week session plus certification day.

PLAYer/Par/Birdie Certification Days – Youth who have completed the Par or Birdie class can come test their golf skills and their understanding of The First Tee Life Skills Curriculum to see if they are ready to move on to the next level.

LPGA/USGA Girls Golf – This is a separate program that is offered to area girls that has special events and activities geared for girls.  Each child also receives an awesome welcome packet from the national LPGA office.    Annual fee is due with the LPGA paperwork

Home School Clinic – (2018) This is a unique opportunity available to all home-schooled students, providing them with exposure to our Life Skills Experience and their peers in a fun, social environment.
$115.00 for a nine-week session. 

Teen Tuesday – This a “teen” only class for players ages 13 – 18.  You will learn a combination of PLAYer and Par principles.  This class will help teenagers develop a strong foundation for the game of golf including: how it is played, practice techniques, and appreciation for golf’s rules and etiquette.  You will also begin developing strong internal self-management skills including: meeting and greeting, conversation techniques, and problem solving strategies.  These skills will assist them at the higher levels (Birdie and Eagle) of The First Tee program.
$115.00 for a nine-week session plus certification day.

Summer Camps – The 2018 schedule starts the week of June 4th and runs for 9 weeks.
A great opportunity for beginners, intermediate and advanced golfers to work on their skills under the guidance of professional golf instructors and The First Tee Coaches. Emphasis will be on helping campers learn the basics of the game and acquire knowledge for future The First Tee classes.
